Hi I'm Sarah.
I live just east of Toronto, suburbs bordering on country. I'm 41 with 2 kids and a husband.
My favourite sport: hockey. love it.
my favourite team: um, the Leafs!!!! -but love the Sabres rivalry, long held soft spot for Montreal and Vancouver and it just wouldn't be the NHL without Philly.
I love to talk about hockey. I find when face to face alot, that men don't necessarily feel too comfortable with me talking about hockey. Women seemed uncomfortable with it, too, as if I was putting it on to impress men. Either that, or I bored them. If one more woman complains to me that "hockey is just so violent", I'll scream.
When I found goteamsgo, I was very excited to sign in under a neutral name and go at it. It's being able to talk not just with neighbours or fellow Leaf fans but hockey fans from all over that makes this the best. Hearing opinions from other people, how they see the game, how they see the Leafs...I've laughed more than anything, coming on here. But I keep learning too - who knew I'd be so up on the Columbus Blue Jackets come the 2006/07 season?

Well Sarah, I don't have any problem with members of the female sex being avid fans of any sport! Shoot, I know a lot of NASCAR fans that are female and are avid followers. You're OK in my book.

See...a convert!...anyone else want to hop on the band wagon while its still early?...I mean being a late season fan is sort of all right...but now...now is the time to hop on...
