I was missing this nice friendly chat that goes on here, so I had to join back. I tried login in with my old login, but I guess it was deleted or something, so I had to make a new one.

While I did post that, I happened to remember that I had it posted in a file I have on my computer that has all my passwords.

I just read something about software that can get all your passwords off your computer.
I need that.
I have them scribbled all over a couple of pieces of paper. Paper is stapled together, but still,its hard to find them.

If ur talking about what I said...then you misunderstood. I have a wordpad file that I put all my passwords in,,,then saved it. It's a file...not a software. And if thats not what ur talking about...then I guess I misunderstood.

I also set up a folder on my desktop that I put all my sites and passwords in. But they do have software that retrieves passwords.

The IT people here at work amuse me. They tell us we should always keep our password hidden so no one can get hold of it and use it. But they've set it up so we have to change our password every 30 days, and we can't use the same password twice in 90 days. Now everybody writes their passwords on sticky notes and puts them in the closest desk drawer next to their computer.
