Thanks for your reply. I am an avid sports fan with college football heading the list and ACC football taking preference. Football in the ACC, however, has fallen on hard times and accolades and trophies are conspicuous by their absence but I'm keeping the faith. We will be back and, hopefully, next year.

Hey Steelerfan, I too am one. I was a longtime Redskins fan but they lost their way many moons ago and I can see no means of rescue from doom.

Hey wampum, everyone told me that when Albert Haynesworth (former Titan) went to Redskins that things would really pick up for them. What happened? I have nic-named him Albert (the traitor) Haynesworth. $$$$ is all he was thinking about, not being a team member that could mentor and be looked up to. Sad that the almighty dollar can change so many people!

I do wish the redskins best of luck though!

You can blame most of their woes on their owner Daniel Schneider, what a joke for an owner, did you know, that now, after fans have come to the stadium with signs blasting him, he no longer allows any signs at all, talk about childish. I also heard a rumor that he has an entourage with him at the stadium, and that he is treated like the president, when he came to Pittsburgh for a game, he rolled up to Heinz Field with about 5 limos, he tried to have them parked right outside, they told him one is fine, the others gotta go. So much more i could say about this, but i'll leave it at that.

I didn't know that about the Redskins owner. I've heard so many negative things about him so that doesn't surprise me. It's doubtful that team will win another game this year. The season ticket holders must be up in arms over all of this. I know I would be and I don't even buy single game tickets anymore.

Many thanks to Strongest 11 for his welcome message. My favorite sport (football) is rapidly coming to a close and my favorite teams have given me little to cheer about this year except the Pittsburgh Steelers. They're doing just fine but my Virginia Cavaliers are pitiful. Oh well, maybe they can make some noise in basketball this season.

Welcome nba10. I'm assuming the nba stands for National Basketball Association. I'm really not into pro basketball very heavy but I do like college B-Ball and I'm sure you will have plenty of company in GoTeamsGo.
