Danica Patrick's ranking in a couple of magazines' recent "hottest" lists probably would have been significantly higher had they been delayed to today.

The IndyCar Series driver graces the pages of the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue available to the public today, following a trend of the magazine featuring athletes and entertainers in the issue that always thaws males in the clutches of winter. Singer/actor Beyoncé Knowles, who performed at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, was featured last February. Heidi Klum, Will Ferrell and a smattering of NFL cheerleaders are featured this year. Model Marissa Miller is on the cover.

"What an amazing honor to be asked to be in the SI Swimsuit issue," said Patrick, who will join other models and celebrities at a launch party tonight in New York City. "It's such an amazing publication and has such a following. I look at it and I like to see the pictures, and I'm a girl so I can't imagine how many people will see the issue."

That's actually a pretty good picture...I didn't think it was Patrick at all...nothing against her, but the picture angle makes her look better than I have seen her look.

Agreed. I think she a good looking woman, but often the pics don't do her justice. That one there is about the best I have seen.

I never knew she was that sexy. I have only seen her in her racing gear. I don't usually pay too much attention to her.
