Title Sponsorship of 2008 IndyCar, Grand-Am Races

MIAMI, Fla. - GAINSCO Auto Insurance has signed a letter of intent to become title sponsor of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series race and the 2008 IndyCar Series season-opening Indy 300 at Homestead- Miami Speedway. GAINSCO Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing Andy Jordan and Homestead-Miami Speedway President Curtis Gray made the joint announcement before gathered media at Daytona International Speedway.

The "GAINSCO Grand Prix of Miami" and "GAINSCO Auto Insurance Indy 300" both will take place March 29 as part of SpeedJam 2008 at Homestead- Miami Speedway, a full-day festival of racing, driver autograph sessions, car shows, Memphis barbeque, kids' activities and live music.
