IndyCar to sportscars: Sharp joins Highcroft

Scott Sharp is known to both open wheel and closed wheel fans. For the 2008 season, Scott is leaving the IndyCar Series and is partnering with sports car specialist David Brabham in the American Le Mans Series.

Duncan Dayton, owner of Highcroft Racing, was pleased to announce today that Scott Sharp and sponsor Patron Spirits have climbed onboard to fight for the LM P2 championship in the Highcroft Acura entry. The battle will not be an easy one going against the Porsche RS Spyders.

I just heard they're auctioning off all the IROC cars and equipment next month. I wonder if Indy racing Series has contacted the auctioneer yet to see when he might have an open ndate?
