Alex Tagliani left his workout clothes in a heap at his Las Vegas home and headed to Montreal to be fitted in designer duds as a participant in Fashion Week.

La Chateau stylist Annie Claude Touzin selected an outfit that you might see the IndyCar Series driver wear occasionally during the 2010 season - "this really cool sleeveless, button jacket that you can wear with a nice shirt under it and then it has a great brown leather coat to wear as well," he said.
About two dozen Canadian and French (not to be confused with French Canadian) designers presented spring collections on the runway at Bonsecours Market and up close at Le Showroom for more than 200 buyers. Tagliani was joined at the opening-night red carpet festivities by FAZZT Race Team owner Andre Azzi.
"When you are there watching the shows, you realize all of the time and effort that goes into this week for the designers to present their work," said Tagliani, who quite possibly took some cues from wife Bronte, a former model. "The involvement of La Chateau as the title sponsor of the event shows the interest that Montreal has in their fashion world.φAll in all it has been a great week in Montreal and I am still so honored to have been invited to participate."
FAZZT Race Team has stated its intentions to compete in the IndyCar Series in 2010 with Tagliani behind the wheel. He'll return to Vegas and slide back into his workout clothes to prepare for the season.
