2009 Firestone Indy 300 Predictions Constest

This is it. The final IndyCar race of the season and will determine the Driver's Champion. The current standings are:
  1. Scott Dixon 570
  2. Dario Franchitti 565
  3. Ryan Briscoe 562
Helio Castroneves is out of it at a distant 4th with 403 points

As you can see, any of the top 3 can win the championship, so it's going to be an exciting race if only from the final points tally point of view.

AND, this race will also determine the GoTeamsGo IndyCar Predictions Contest Championship "Podium". WestCoast has already cinched the Championship, but the other two spots are wide open as there are a possible 6 points that can be awarded to each contestant. Here's how it stands at this moment:
  1. 22 pts - WestCoast -- 2009 Champion
  2. 10 pts - Bob Tanner
  3. 7 pts - Racer Duck
  4. 6 pts - NASCAR Gnome
  5. 3 pts - OregonSHRFan
  6. 2 pts - onearmsteve
Good Luck!!!

Good choice! But since it wasn't part of the Predictions contest, not worth more than an "atta boy"...

Since we had no predictions for this race, the final season standing are as stated above:
  1. 22 pts - WestCoast -- 2009 Champion
  2. 10 pts - Bob Tanner
  3. 7 pts - Racer Duck
  4. 6 pts - NASCAR Gnome
  5. 3 pts - OregonSHRFan
  6. 2 pts - onearmsteve
Thanks to all who have played this year. Next year will be even better!
