Re: Marvin Harrison elbow surgery

Surprising news out of Indianapolis -- Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who caught 82 passes for 1,146 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2005, is going (or by this time, has probably already undergone) elbow surgery. It's not supposed to be anything too serious, and he's supposed to be good to go for training camp in July. Still anytime you're #1 receiver undergoes surgery, it's got to be a bit of a concern, right Colts fans?

Forget Harrison, he'll be okay...he's a gammer...I would worry more about replacing Edge in the backfield.

Re: Marvin Harrison elbow surgery

I hope he makes a full recovery. At least he has full support from the GoTeamsGo Forum!

I think the Colts will be able to find someone to be a reliable running-back for the team. They have had some of the top rushers (Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James) and have always found someone to replace them.

If it were a knee, I would be a lot more worried. But the elbow is not that big a deal for a receiver.

Yeah me too! If it was knee surgery, I would probably be sick to my stomach!

Re: Marvin Harrison elbow surgery

I am going to go out on a limp...and say...Harrison with one good elbow is still better than 90% of the league...

Yeah, Marvin's the man! I'm pretty sure he played injured (wrist) last season.

Re: Marvin Harrison elbow surgery

That just shows you his motivation to win. He was a big part of the Colts' 13-0 run last season. He has determination to win and become the best reciever in the league. He isn't that flashy either (unlike T.O. and Chad Johnson). He is like football used to be, the good old basics.

We won't have to watch any miserable touchdown celebrations with the new rules.
