| Colts' draft to show Harrison's future The Indianapolis Colts spent the entire 2007 season insisting that wide receiver Marvin Harrison's knee was just fine, even though it wasn't. Harrison ended up playing in just five regular-season games, and then the Colts put him on the field in the playoffs when he wasn't ready, and his costly fumble is one of the reasons they were upset by the Chargers. If the Colts use their second round pick (they dont have a first round) on a receiver, they are close to saying that Harrison is done. Harrison turns 36 in August and 36 year olds coming off their worst career season dont often bounce back. There may never be another 1,000 yard season from Harrison. Colts' Draft to Show Marvin Harrison's Future - FanHouse - AOL Sports Blog I believe he's at the end. What do you think?

| Re: Colts' draft to show Harrison's future While they should prepare for the future, I think Harrison is far from done...and 1,000 yards with Manning throwing and chemistry he has with him is nothing...it's 4 or 5 ctaches for 60-70 yards per game...the man can still deliver that.

| Re: Colts' draft to show Harrison's future lets face it, he's getting old. his heart and hands are still there, but his body is starting to deteriorate. i mean didn't he only played like 5 games last year? the colts need to draft a receiver because harrison's production will continue to decline for the rest of his career. the colts need to find a deep threat in the draft. they have their slot receiver already with Gonzalez and an all around receiver with wayne. now they need a deep threat to replace harrison |
