Tony Dungy, a man of deep convictions and strong faith, has said that his job as head coach of the Colts has given him a platform to continue his ministry.
He enjoys his job, the players, staff and the heads of the organization. He says this gives him the best place to continue what he has been doing.
The Colts' owner, Jim Irsay, has made it easier for Tony to do what he does well. Dungy will be able to spend part of the off season in Tampa with his family. He has also given use of his private plane to Tony to fly to Tampa to watch his son play football Friday nights during the season.
The family man says his decision had the support of his wife, Lauren, and his family.
