| Meet Jim Sorgi, wannabe Maytag repairman It's time to meet the Maytag repairman wannabe on whom the Browns' fate rests.Sorgi will have much to say about the Browns' playoff fate, because Sorgi will get the bulk of the playing time at quarterback Sunday night for the Indianapolis Colts against the Tennessee Titans. If Sorgi and the Colts win, then the Browns go to the playoffs. If Sorgi and the Colts lose. . .well. . .best not think about that. So who is this Sorgi guy? A lot of folks are wondering that. Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth had this to say when asked whether he knew much about Jim Sorgi: "Who?" So who is this Sorgi guy? He went to Wisconsin, where he left with a career passer rating of 141.3. Sorgi was drafted in 2004 by the Colts in the sixth round. That made him the 10th quarterback taken, after such guys as Eli Manning, Craig Krenzel and Josh Harris. Since he was drafted, he has played sparingly _ Manning has started 159 games in a row, and almost never gets hurt _ but has also played pretty well. This season he has appeared in three games, and gone 7-for-12 for 64 yards. Not too bad. He started this season with a 99.3 passer rating. Compare that to Manning's 94.4. http://www.tradingmarkets.com/.site/news/Stock%20News/947039/

Sorgi seems to be ok where he is but I am thinking someone is missing out on a great starter. |
