How about Cotton Davidson - first round draft pick in 1954, played two seasons for the Colts and threw for 309 yards, 0 TDs and 6 INTs before winding up as a member of the Dallas Texans in 1960. Or Art Schlichter? First round draft pick in 1982. Was expected to start but was beat out by Mike Pagel, was suspended and later released due to a gambling addiction.

Dude Bert Jones was one of the better QBs of the 70's...led the Colts to the playoffs and was high on the QB rating before his injuries shut him down. George was not that bad.

I am going with Marty Dormes...1st round 9 pick overall in 69 (though for the Chargers)...who had 27 tds and 50 ints in 90 league games.

Didn't Art Schlichter play for the Colts. He comes to mind as one of their worst.

He also led them to one of their worst seasons at 2-14, see 1981..
