Then that's what you should have said. You introduced a whole different line when you brought in Bill Clinton.
In addition, being untruthful is not quite the same as deliberately cheating. Before you get on your moral high horse, yes, both are wrong, but they arent the same thing in a football game. Being untruthful can mean coloring something a shade of gray. Lying is saying its black when you know perfectly well it is white. Saying you didnt inhale when you did, is a lie. And what the heck does this have to do with a football forum anyway??????????????????

I understand where you were getting at, and knowing Tony Dungy's character, I was just trying to convey that you might as well try to convince me that my pastor's trying to lie and cheat, that's what I'm saying at. I guess technically it's possible for anyone to lie, but there are certain people that you expect it from, and certain people that you don't. Dungy would most certainly fall into the latter category in my book.

We have a different perception of lying. Lying is not speaking the truth. Also let me interject that this whole issue of pumped in noise is an IF issue. It has yet to be proven. I'm making no accusations at this point. This is just another reason I hate the media. Run with the story and then we'll see if it is true. Now to keep the argument /discussion going lets assume the noise issue is true. The next question is did Tony know about it ??? If Tony denies knowledge and we cannot prove it one way or the other is he lying or telling the truth ? Keep in mind my example denied it but the popular consensus says he lied.

I'm just saying, if CBS wants to take the hit, and no one can prove otherwise, it's a dead issue. Several teams in several sports have been accused of this, but to my knowlege, not one has actually been caught.

I'm sure it has happened, but...

I do think it is funny that as much as we all made a big deal about it, the fans and teams were unaware of this "malfunction" until after the game was over.

BTW, Belechick pretty much accsused the Colts of interfering with the coach to QB comunication in the story, so now we have that issue!
