Colts Caught Cheating! SHAME ON YOU Colts!!!

Remember how everyone was so quick to jump all over Bill Belichick and the Patriots because of "spygate"? Well I wonder what the media is going to do with "noisegate"? In case you missed it, during the Patriots/Colts game last night it appears that Colts President Bill Polian dropped his iPOD because for about 4-5 seconds the crowd noise that he has been accused of pumping into the RCA Dome actually skipped.

Several fans, blogs and websites have reported hearing this and Profootballtalk.com actually has an MP3 where you can hear the incriminating evidence for yourself.

Download the MP3 here The clip is 27 seconds long and between seconds 17-22 you can hear what sounds like some kind of mechanical skipping sound. Apparently Bill Polian must have dropped his iPOD and then frantically shut it off. You can also hear it on this Youtube clip as well:

i dont have sound on my computer at the moment, but i would love to hear the clips

i do remember yesterday how the announcers commented they were surprised just how much the crowd was still in the game in the late going ........ maybe it was fake

Yeah, I remember the comment - they mentioned that crowd noise was usually overrated, but that the Colts fans had been nice and loud whenever the Pats had the ball and were very quiet whenever Manning needed to call his signals. Wonder if the NFL will investigate.

Maybe this has something to do with the chilly reception Belichick had for Dungy after the game too...

It's be cheating, plain and simple, no better than videotaping opponents. It's 100% against NFL rules to pump in illegal crowd noise.

i find this to be much worse then what the Pats did ....... i think it was shown that what the Pats did to the Jets was proven to not help them in that game ....... this on the other hand for sure helped the Colts in this game .... if true it is very troubling

It didn't affect the outcome, so there is that. And the Colts wouldn't be the first team ever busted for this - the Saints of the Pat Swilling/Rickey Jackson era were caught pumping noise into the Superdome as well. I'll look and see what kind of penalties were assessed in that situation.

i do recall during the game ... the announcers mentioned that Brady was having a tough time hearing the plays being called in due to the crowd noise .... and he had to keep going over to the sidelines

No doubt the New England media would have had a field day with it. The next question will be how are all the defeated teams going to react to this if it is true ???
