Re: IndianapolisColts NFL Draft Picks

Here's the rundown of all of Indy's 2006 Draft Picks:

2006 NFL Draft Results
Rd Pk (Ov) Player Pos School Notes
1 30 (30) Joseph Addai RB LSU
2 30 (62) Tim Jennings CB Georgia
3 30 (94) Freddie Keiaho LB San Diego St.
5 30 (162) Michael Toudouze OT TCU
6 30 (199) Charlie Johnson OT Oklahoma State
6 38 (207) Antoine Bethea S Howard (Compensatory Selection)
7 30 (238 ) T.J. Rushing CB Stanford (from Indianapolis through Tennessee)

Not sure how I'd grade them. Addai was a bit of a reach, if you ask me, and I'm not crazy about the defensive personnel they picked up. But Dungy and company seem to be happy with what they accomplished. What do you think?

I too think Addai was areach at that spot...I would have taken White at the 30th spot...if you are going to reach...reach big...Dungy is probably more comforable taking defense of players anyway...so I would think they will pan out...

My thoughts exactly, Gotham. White is a higher risk/higher reward kind of pick. But man, if he gets healthy and in shape, what a player he can be. Addai is the more conservative, safer choice, but I just don't see much seperating him from the two backs they already have, talent wise.

Cool Re: IndianapolisColts NFL Draft Picks

I really don't know. Lendale White really fell big time in the draft. It wasn't like Randy Moss or Warren Sapp who only fell a few picks. Time will tell.

yes, he fell big...but I do think it is like Moss or Sapp...knowing how they turned out...how many teams would have reconsidered the fact that they passed on them in 1999 and 1995?...I think White will do like wise...
