i have heard how close this game will be .... i have heard how either team can win ...... i have heard how great the Colts are ............. and i think its all crap

id just love for someone here to please explain to me just how the Colts will beat the Patriots

i laid it all out for you before the Pats-Cowboys game ....... some of you told me i was crazy, and i was proven to be right

let me lay it out for you again

QB: toss up ..... they are both great (even though i think Brady is better ill give it a toss up)

RB: Patriots ..... i really think Addai and Maroney are about a toss up, but after Addai what do the Colts have ? ......... after Maroney the Pats have Sammy Morris and Kevin Faulk .. they can have a rested top quality RB in for every play if they want to

WR: Patriots ..... i give an edge to Randy Moss over Marvin Harrison (and Marvin may not play, if he does he isnt 100% because of his knee) ...... ill take Stallworth over Wayne .. and Welker over Gonzalez ....... and ill take Faulk over Addai

TE: Colts ..... somehow Clark always seems to be open at the worst (if youre a Pats fan) possible time .... the Pats need to make sure he has a shadow at all times, maybe 2 of them

Defense: Patriots ...... Bob Sanders is back, and he is a great player (actually reminds me of a younger Rodney Harrison) .. but he is only one player ....... the Pats have so many defensive studs its ridiculous

Coach: Push .... (of course the answer is Patriots)

so im really curious ...... just why is it the Colts will beat the Patriots ?

RB - Toss Up. Starters edge goes to Colts, Depth to Pats. I think that equalizes, don't you? And I would hardly call Morris and Faulk "top quality" running backs.

WR - Stallworth over Wayne? Moss over Harrison, yes, but Stallworth over Wayne? You're nuts. In a good way.

D - This is the most egregious of all. Pats D over the Colts? Not hardly. Colts have the second best scoring defense in the NFL, allowing just 14.6 points per game. Both teams have good defenses, but this is one area where Indy has a clear advantage over New England.

So why do the Colts win this game? Because their defense will shock the world by shutting down Brady and the New England offense.

Colts give up more yards, but fewer points - only the Steelers have allowed fewer, on average. Most impressive.
