Apparently Jim Sorgi really enjoys holding clipboards. He's just signed a three-year contract extension that will have him doing it through the 2010 season.

Sorgi, the backup to Peyton Manning for the Indianapolis Colts, has never taken a meaningful snap in his NFL career, and given Manning's Favreian health, there's a good chance that he'll make it through this entire deal without ever playing in a game that matters.

A man has to know his limitations... I think if he was the caliber of player to be a starter he would...maybe he is the next Jason Garrett and he is learning from two of the best.
