| Bob Is Back ![]() Bob Sanders worked and rehabbed throughout the past off-season with a few moments in mind. One moment came Wednesday. Another will come Saturday. The third won't come until the Colts’ regular-season opener in 15 days, but pending that, Sanders – the Colts’ fourth-year safety – said the news was as good as could be expected on Wednesday. Sanders, a 2005 Pro Bowl selection and a key to the Colts’ defense, practiced on Wednesday for the first time this preseason. He said he plans to play Saturday in the team’s third preseason game. “I’ll go out, move around and see how things go,” Sanders said Wednesday as the Colts (0-2 in the preseason) prepared to play the Detroit Lions (0-2) in the RCA Dome Saturday at 7 p.m. “I feel good. I feel strong. I feel fast. I’m ready to go.” Asked if he expected to play Saturday, Sanders smiled. “That’s the plan,” he said. The Official Website of the Indianapolis Colts |
