I'm a huge Peyton Manning fan but SNL wasn't great. I had pretty low expectations. There were some parts that were really funny but I was a little disappointed overall.

I'd guess if you didn't like Peyton Manning in the 1st place, you probably thought he really bombed. Wasn't impressed with the material he was given to work with. Sometimes SNL stuff just sucks and I thought that the writers did a poor job on creating the right skits.

The United Way parody at the beginning could have been great but they over did it. Too much cussing & too much of the hurting kids with his passes. Great concept, poor implementaiton. That falls on the writers, not Peyton.

The best part was probably the locker room scene where Peyton & the team want to give up at halftime. Coach comes in & plays some really stupid music which is supposed to inspire the team. Coach dances while the cast & Manning try to cover up that they're cracking up. Peyton is the only one inspired & I laughed pretty hard there.

Anyone else see Peyton Manning on SNL?
