| Manning restructures contract Colts QB Peyton Manning has restructured his contract to save Indy some cap room. According to the Associated Press, "The Super Bowl MVP was to receive a $10 million roster bonus during the offseason but by converting the money into a regular signing bonus, the Colts can prorate that amount over the remaining four years of his deal. That saves Indianapolis space under the cap, which is $109 million." Always great to hear stories like this, although I guess he's still technically getting his money. But he is looking out for the team, and that's what counts in my book. |
