King of the world? your words, not mine. I'm just commenting on nobody can say that Peyton can't win a big game. And, yes, he's not won enough for me to call him the greatest QB of all time... yet.

You should have heard my wife. In the early 2nd quarter, she was already talking about how she's gonna have to wait a whole nother year for Peyton to make it to the Super Bowl.

Thanks, Nuke. It's hard for anyone to have an unbiased view of a game. I know I sure wasn't unbiased. And I won't be on Feb 4th either

ya know........i dont really resent Manning as much as i resent the media for propping him up so much

seems for years they have acted like he is the greatest QB to ever lace them up and he hasnt won anything worthy in the post season

just has really been sickening they way they have fawned all over him

see, I'm just the opposite. I had to endure the major media, led by ESPN, starting and steamrolling against his Heisman campaign when he should have been the clear winner. Don't tell me & the Bama guys there's not a bias against the SEC.

I don't think he's "the greatest QB to ever lace them up" but I think he has a chance to become that guy. I'll let you know when we get there

Re: Colts vs. Patriots - AFC Championship Game

You know when I saw what was going on in the first half ? I thought its the old Colts from last year here but then after the half I thought this is the team which I choose from the beginnng to win it all and that was the main reason as to why I thought they would win by 9 , 32 -13 after the half , It's looking really good now for the Clots to win it all , I am sorry for you Bear's fans that are reading this but I would be shock if the Bear's win the superbowl , I don't think they are that good enough team to do so ... What a heck of a game this Colts and Pats was , I knew it was going to be really good .... Go Colts

If the weather is an issue in the SB, the Bears have a shot. Otherwise, I'm going with the Manning/Sanders-led Colts

Re: Colts vs. Patriots - AFC Championship Game

In my opinion, the crucial adjustment in the game was the drive at the end of the first half. Before that, Indianapolis looked to be going through the motions, taking their time to get set. During that drive and throughout the second half, the Colts picked up the pace and stopped the Patriots from making substitutions en masse. After playing an incredibly physical game in San Diego and battling the flu during the week, the Patriots defense lost its legs.

Cool Re: Colts vs. Patriots - AFC Championship Game

The genius, Mr. Belichick, made a brutal error by not calling timeout earlier on the Colts final drive. He could have left Brady with another 40 seconds at the end. And he's such a sourpuss. How about showing some class?

Re: Colts vs. Patriots - AFC Championship Game

Finally. Two teams I like in the SB. I hope Peyton gets him one though. He deserves it. Bears? Maybe next year. Gotta get past my Cowboys first though. Romo ain't fumblin no snaps next year.

Re: Colts vs. Patriots - AFC Championship Game

Although the colts can win I really think the bears will and here is why.

The Colts just don’t match up with the Bears defense. As long as Rex Grossman can hand off the ball the rest will fall into place. Paton Manning will have a problem with the Bears defense and will throw a couple of INTS. Defense wins championships and the Colts really don’t have a good enough defense to win the big game.

I know this may sound like sour grapes from a Patriots fan however the
Colts played a depleted tired injured Patriots defense and only won by 4 points late in the game. That will not be the case for the SB.

Also no matter how you cut it Paton Manning has only won 1 BIG GAME not the BIGGEST game. Does Jim Kelly come to mind here? He won 4 BIG GAMES but never won the biggest one. I may be ahead of myself here but that’s how I see Paton Manning.

I only tell how I see it.
