AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

well the Ravens are the 2nd seed so they get the higher opponent, since the Colts won that is them

this game should be the Colts toughest challenge yet

Baltimore will be the most complete team they have played to date and the toughest defense they have faced this season by far

even so, the Ravens will not have an easy time stopping Manning and the Colts offense

can Manning get one more step to his first Super Bowl birth ?

or will old man McNair teach the young Colt QB a new trick ?

Re: AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

This is one of the best match-up's possible in the AFC playoffs. One of the best defenses against one of the top offenses. Who can win?

I'm going with McNair and the Ravens. When they're on, they are dominant.

Re: AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

Colts proved yesterday they can shut down the run, and I bet they'll be able to again next weekend.

Give me Indy in this one, but McNair's passing and the Ravens defense will make it close.

Re: AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

Hopefully our D will play as good as they did yesterday and limit what's his name (whoever the Raven's running back is) to minimal yardage. No mistakes on Offense or Defense. Should be a good game!

Re: AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

I agree that Peyton and the Colts will need to be magical to beat the Ravens this weekend. (Especially if Manning has another day like last weekend's KC game). But the defense was spectacular last weekend - and that's what its all about - teamwork! When some are down, others must kick in to compensate.

The offense does seem to have a problem at times getting from the red zone to the end zone, but this weekend will decide if they can overcome their stallouts.

I loved the Colts even before 1970 and I long to see them go all the way. They have worked so hard and taken so much constant critisism over their loosing in the playoffs.

Nearly every game seems to be a nailbiter. But there is nothing like it when they drive downfield or force the opponent's turnover. And Can that V-boy kick or what?

Cool Re: AFC Second Round: Colts vs Ravens

For the first time in a long time, the Colts are underdogs and are being given no respect. True to my contrarian nature, I think the Colts win the game 28-21.
