| Colts Receiver Gets $39 Million The Colts have just resigned Reggie Wayne to a 6-year, $39 million dollar contract with a $13.5 million signing bonus. True, he did lead the team in receptions last year, but he just had barely over 1,000 yards and 5 touchdowns. Is he really worth an average of $6.5 million per season?
Its interesting that the Colts have more than $150 million tied up over in just Wayne, Marvin Harrison and Peyton Manning for the next six seasons, not to mention Brandon Stokely's contract. And they are considering using the franchise tag on James now. I know this is a great offense and all, but its never been a championship offense. Should they really go to such great lengths to try and keep it all together? |
