Re: Indianapolis Colts: The Road to 16-0

Good article presenting the top 5 reasons why the Colts will go undefeated, and the top 5 reason's they won't.

On the positive side -- they're getting healthy, they're used to this kind of pressure (remember last year), Manning's taken his game to a whole new level this season, the schedule is getting easier and the author doesn't think the team's peaked yet.

On the negative side - their run defense is awful, there could be a letdown much like the Bears suffered, they still have to overcome Jacksonville on the road in Week 14, Pittsburgh and New England have in the past given teams a blueprint on how to beat them, and lastly, they really don't seem overly concerned about 16-0 and may rest players if they clinch home field throughout the playoffs.

So what's the verdict. Will Indianapolis got 16-0 or won't they?

No, there is no need...but if they go 14-0 will people credit them with a perfect season like Miami in some way?

Really? This week, at home, versus Buffalo? I don't see it. What makes you say they lose on Sunday, Pundit?

Ugh! Why did Chicago have to lose? Now all the attention is on the Colts.

Yep, but they seem to be handling it well. Now, I don't think they can run the table, but they definitely seem to be the class of the AFC. As always, their defense is their Achilles Heel. A team with a bruising running attack, especially in cold weather, would probably take this team pretty easily. Manning's a great QB, but until they improve in other areas I just can't believe Indy is a legit Super Bowl threat.

Re: Indianapolis Colts: The Road to 16-0

I am a die hard Colts fan from way back in the day when their first name was Baltimore...

As far as the running game, Addai seems to get a little better every game and Rhodes aint no slouch.

That said, I don't care if they go 16-0, that would be nice, all I'd like to see is a Super Bowl win. Manning deserves a ring along with Harrison and Wayne...my heart tells me this is the year, my head says what about the "play off choke"...like everyone else, all I can do is speculate and wait to see what happens.

Re: Indianapolis Colts: The Road to 16-0

I don't think they will go 16-0. Somebody is going to run the ball down their throats the whole game sooner or later, and there won't be time for Manning to make any dramatic comebacks.

As for the superbowl, maybe they should fire Dunghy and replace him with Gruden. It worked for Tampa Bay.
