Hey, thanks for joining the forum. I've been around for a while, and this is a first for me, I think -- very rarely do you run into anyone who doesn't like Peyton. The only possible knock on Manning I can see is his inability to win the big playoff game, but then, Dan Marino didn't have the best post season record either. Guess what? They're both pretty darn good QBs.

So what about him rubs you the wrong way, Franchise?

I can't speak for Franchise, but I dislike how (at least in the regular season), Peyton always finds a way to win. It's just amazing how his team can be down for 3 1/2 quarters and then he slowly brings them back and takes the lead. He did it three times that I can remember this season...against the Giants, Jets and Titans.

I don't know....My dad dislikes him and i started watching football when i was like 5. And my dad was playing madden and he says " I hate peyton manning." So i followed my dad so much i began to hate him because my dad did so no reason....

funny how a couple of months ago, Colt's fans would be caught dead before thinking bad thoughts about Peyton, but look at what losing 3 games in 4 weeks does to an average football team.

Peyton Manning doesn't suck, the team around him sucks. Especially the defense.

Sure, the Colt's run defense has been lousy in every aspect, but their team is built around the offense, and while I saw more than a half dozen dropped balls today, if Peyton had the leadership that "great" QBs are supposed to have, he would have made sure to pull the kid aside for a few quick words. Give him some encouragement to make the play next time. But the most important thing is to rise above the adversity whenever your team is in need. I have yet to see as much from Peyton or any other Colt player on the road this year...

It is obvious their run defense stinks. I think that is the main reason why they are not going to win again this year. In the playoffs, they are going to go up against a team that is going to run the ball right through them. Can you imagine what LT is going to do to them if they meet in the playoffs. Peyton is a great QB, but he is not going to be able to score enough for them to win.

Yep...that run D has a major hole in it...they dono't balance it out...you can kiss the Super Bowl goodbye...no reflection on Peyton..though he is starting to affect my Fantasy teams (all three of them!)...I need a few 3 TD games...I passed LT and Anderson in two leagues to get steady Peyton...
