Really stinks right now. While I'm glad that we won today, I definately see problems. So far, every team we've played has pretty much been able to run at will. If we don't make improvements, we'll be in some serious trouble.

I hate the fact that Simon is out for the season, I do wish him well though and hope he gets better.

I dont think a teams run defense can improve overnight. It's not like the Colts will find some 330 pounder on the street ready to block some gaps. It will probably be a weakness for them throughout the season. But as long as the offense can improve and score more, they should be fine.

But come playoff time, they'll run into some big problems.

Yeah, having Simon out is really hurting us. Hopefully he'll be back next season.

In an interview with the Indianapolis Star yesterday, Dungy ripped his D.

"Our run defense, really, we're just a little bit soft right now... We had some guys yesterday, guys who were free, that either couldn't make the tackles or made the tackles for 6-yard gains instead of 2-yard gains."

"We're in position to make tackles and Travis Henry is running hard, running through some tackles. LenDale White's running through tackles... they've got seven guys to block, we've got eight guys up there, and the eighth guy has to make the tackle."

So the coach is calling out his defense in public. Will they respond?
