Week One: Indianapolis @ NY Giants

Indy got Vinatieri, but he may not play week one......they are also getting older

Manning is slowly showing he just cant seem to get the job done when it matters

the Giants have problems of their own at QB, Eli is the little brother.....and he looks like it......it doesnt seem like he has what it takes yet either

Tiki should have another great season, but until Eli fully matures it will be fore nothing

Colts 30 Giants 21

What's Arrington's status for the opener? What about the G-Men offensive line? These injuries could play a big impact on the final score, but regardless, I think Manning, Harrison and the Colts claim the 'W' in this one.

I second that. Big Manning over Little Manning...little Manning is not ready to take down big brother yet. If nothing else, Peyton has to establish that pecking order...

Anyone think Jacobs wil lhave a big game?...and who is starting in the backfield for the Colts?...

Injuries and who's playing won't be known likely until Wednesday or Thursday. I like what the Giants bring to the table in this game. They have so many offensive weapons to play with. Eli Manning has shown he can play with the pressure on (as he proved when playing in San Diego).

Re: Week One: Indianapolis @ NY Giants

Well it's not like they're directly playing against each other like the Barber brothers lol. Even Eli mentioned that.

Re: Week One: Indianapolis @ NY Giants

Corey Simon isn't expected to play this Sunday night in the season opener. If he doesn't, it'd be a HUGE advantage to the Giants.

Heres a link to a local Indy news site about Simon and Stokely.

Well, I'm sure Addai will see 5-10 carries, Gotham. Gotta work the rook in slowly, you know.

Naw...he is a runner...you give him the ball and you point towards the goal line...oh, and yes, he has to pick up the blitz on Peyton.

Cool Re: Week One: Indianapolis @ NY Giants

It'll be interesting to see if the Colts have a hangover from last years debacle. If they're not mentally out of it, they will win this game. If they get down 10 or 14 -0 quickly, they might have a long night.
