Colts Playoff Tickets

Colts Playoff Tickets
Throughout the team's illustrious history, football fans have had many chances to purchase Colts playoff tickets. The franchise that now calls the RCA Dome home made their first trip to the National Football League postseason in 1958. That season, the team - which was located in Baltimore, Maryland at the time - went 9-3 and finished in first place in the NFL West. They went on to win the championship by beating the New York Giants, 23-17, in what is known as the "Greatest Game Ever Played." The 1958 league title game, as most fans know, marked the first time in NFL history that a game went to sudden-death overtime. The following season, the Colts and Giants met again with the NFL championship on the line, with Baltimore winning by a 31-16 score. The Colts went on to make 10 playoff appearances, winning the 1968 NFL Championship and Super Bowl V in 1970, before leaving the city of Baltimore and relocating to Indianapolis prior to the 1984 season.

Colts Playoff Tickets: The Indianapolis Era
The first time sports fans had the shot to buy Colts playoff tickets was in 1987, in their fourth season since leaving Maryland for Indiana. That 1987 team went 9-6 and won the AFC Eastern Division. However, their stay in the postseason was short lived as they lost their first game to the Cleveland Browns. The team has made it back to the playoffs several times since then, and of course fans snatched up the Indianapolis playoff tickets. These days, with stars like Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison and company running one of the NFL's best offenses, many people predict that this squad will be a serious playoff threat for many seasons to come. That means that gridiron junkies in and around the city of Indianapolis will have plenty of opportunities to witness Colts playoff games in the near future. So what do you guys think the future holds for this Indianapolis Colts team, anyway? Is another Super Bowl title in the cards for them anytime soon?

Re: Colts Playoff Tickets

The question is whether or not Indy will have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs or will Baltimore?

If it's in Baltimore and two end up playing, that would be a great game. A great defense against a great offense.

Re: Colts Playoff Tickets

I agree completely, Empire. Colts haven't been the best postseason road team as of late...
