Now that the national letter of intent paperwork is filed, IU basketball coach Tom Crean can comment on the signing of 7-0 center Tijan Jobe from Olney (Ill.) Central College.
“We are excited to be able to sign a player with the defensive ability and rebounding presence that Tijan has,” Crean said in a university release. “He has a lot of room for growth in the sense of improving on the defensive and offensive end. We love the fact he plays extremely hard. His height and wingspan (7-5) is something our team was in great need of.”
