Gordon bolts from Indiana

Indiana freshman guard Eric Bolton is leaving the Indiana Hoosiers after one season for the NBA.
Gordon, the Big Ten's leading scorer and conference freshman of the year, will be the 5th of the Hoosiers regular starters to leave. This will give new coach Tom Crean a clean slate heading into his 1st season with the Hoosiers.
According to Chad Ford's Big Board on ESPN.com, Gordon is ranked eighth among Ford's top 100 NBA draft prospects.

I don't know what to think about this move, Gordon is only like 6'0 or 6'1, and he plays two guard. The is a scorer and in no way could play point guard. Can he be a successful two guard at 6'0 though? I don't know.

nice talent...but way to early to bolt...not sure what kids are thinking these days...or what advice they are getting...he will sit on the bench for two years and end up in a league in Italy or Greece.

So neither of you are impressed by the fact that he is 8th on the list of top 100 NBA prospects??

Talent wise, he is great but what position is going to play, he is too short to 2 guard, and can't play point guard. It'll be interesting to see.

Nope...too early...give him a few years and maybe...right now he is a raw talent...nothing special in the NBA.

Re: Gordon bolts from Indiana

can you say jj reddick? hell alotta people end up on the top of scout lists. that means nothing.

1. this screws indiana since they also released armond bassett. he was actually their best player but they still got jordan crawford

2. this kid needs to work on ball handling and creating his own shot. most of his points come from the foul line and every game i've seen him in, he gets away with quite a few travels. he is really good. but not nba good.

besides, who was the last big time player from indiana? isiah thomas. 27 years ago

Re: Gordon bolts from Indiana

He's got to be leaving because of the coaching situation, because he just wants to leave Indiana. That's the only way this makes sense.

Re: Gordon bolts from Indiana

He was always a one and done guy. He will end up on the scrap heap with a few million in his pocket. His stock won't get any higher if he is ranked at eight now. Might as well go since he's not there for the classes.

Mayo will probably declare and be a loto pick, but there are only three freshman ready to make the jump right now and those are Beasley, Love, and Rose.

Naw, doesn't know what to do when he gets a great defender on him, when they played UCLA the second time and Collison was on him he turned it over than he scored.

bears9...most of the NBA couldn't shake off a real good defender...but I know what you mean...I still like the kid though...no disrespect to your opinion...
