Hoosiers open spring without star qb

Indiana's offense got a lot faster even with caretaker QB Ben Chappell calling signals.
The Hoosiers opened spring practice with Chappell directing a new no huddle offnese.
Star QB Lewis is suspended and is not expected back before the start of training camp this summer. Lewis passed for more than 3000 yards, 28 TDs and rushed for 700 yards and 9 TDS.
Chappell is a sophmore who appeared in just 3 games last year as a backup and completed 1 of 2 passes.
