| Hoosiers could fire Sampson This is a bizarre story. The contract between Indiana and new basketball coach Kelvin Sampson is written as such that, if the NCAA sanctions him for previous recruiting violations at Oklahoma, they could fire him immediately and without paying any sort of monetary penalty to him. Here's the whole story: http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news;_...v=ap&type=lgns How bad does the situation look regarding the investigation into Sampson and the Sooner program? Will the NCAA come down with more penalties? |

| Re: Hoosiers could fire Sampson Indiana has always been known for it's clean programs. Sampson was brought in with Greenspan's knowledge of infractions committed by Sampson group at Oklahoma. OU will be paying the price for quite some time. If the NCAA places any sanctions on the University, both Greenspan and Sampson should be given their walking papers immediately. Send the message: Indiana does not need to "win at all costs!" |
