Indiana will host Georgia Tech in the ninth annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 27, and will tip off at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
"It will be a great game," Indiana Head Coach Kelvin Sampson said. "Georgia Tech has a great tradition and will be one of the better teams in the ACC. It's a great opportunity for us."
For the third consecutive year, the event will feature 11 games (an increase from nine in the six previous years). The Hoosiers and Yellow Jackets have met only once before, with Georgia Tech claiming an 87-65 victory in Los Angeles on Dec. 29, 1969.
