BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior Roderick Wilmont closed out his career in Assembly Hall, pacing five Hoosiers in double figures with 21 points and 11 rebounds as the Indiana men's basketball team defeated Penn State, 94-63, on March 3. With the win, Indiana closed out its home season with a perfect 15-0 record.
The Hoosiers shot 56.1 percent from the floor, including a scorching 64 percent in the opening stanza. IU also hit 53.1 percent from beyond the arc, as it matched a school record with 17 treys in 32 attempts. Indiana hit 31 3-pointers in two games against Penn State this season.
Joining Wilmont in double-digits were junior D.J. White, who tallied 12 points, junior Mike White, also with 12, senior Earl Calloway, who totaled 15 in his Assembly Hall finale, and junior A.J. Ratliff with 18. Like Wilmont, Calloway tallied a double-double in the win, as he dished out a career-best 11 assists.
