Hoosier's tourney

I'm looking at the bracket and I see that Indiana is playing my local school's team, San Diego State. This is a good opportunity for the Hoosiers to get to the sweet 16. Although Gonzaga has a powerful weapon its safe to say that they really arent a Duke an Ohio State or even a North Carolina. I wouldn't be surprised if Gonzaga was upset in this game, assuming of course that the Hoosiers get past State.

Re: Hoosier's tourney

Indiana will go down to San Diego State. They will be introduced to Marcus Slaughter who I think will control the middle. He's coming off breaking the MWC tourney rebounding record held by Andrew Bogut.

The Hoosiers better not look ahead.

Re: Hoosier's tourney

Do you think the "win one for the gipper" mentality will have any bearing on IU's tournament? It seems like a pretty tumultous situation over in Bloomington. These are two challenging games for The Hoosiers but they are also winnable, they are a really inconsistent team so it all depends who shows up. Either way I am rooting for Mike Davis, Indiana might experience a "Our legendary coach leaves our school and were discontent with anyone else that follows him" aftermath with Bob Knight. Much like UCLA has more or less experienced since Wooden retired.
