Iowa Hawkeyes @ Indiana Hoosiers

So Indiana was able to hold off Illinois this past weekend to improve to .500 on the season. Enjoy it while you can, boys, because the 5-1 Iowa Hawkeyes are coming to town. Not only is Iowa coming off a 47-17 thumping of Purdue, but Indiana is a paltry 1-3 at home in 2006. Sorry to say it, Hoosiers fans, but this one could get real quick with Drew Tate at QB. I'm guessing a 42-10 Indiana loss. That sound about right?

Don't forget to post your predictions for this game as our $300 Ticket Contest continues!

Post Iowa Hawkeyes @ Indiana Hoosiers - Sports Network prediction

Here's what the Sports Network has to say about this week's Iowa - Indiana game.

Quote:
The Sports Network I-A College Football
Sure, Indiana has the advantage of playing at home, but Iowa is the better team and will win this game on the road. The Hawkeyes are clearly superior to the Hoosiers on both sides of the ball, so expect a double-digit triumph by Tate and company... Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Iowa 38, Indiana 17
So the author of this article sees the game being slightly closer than I do. Which of us is right?

Re: Iowa Hawkeyes @ Indiana Hoosiers

Indiana played Illinois much tougher than I expected from them. The game is in Indiana so don't be surprised if Indiana hangs tough with Iowa for a while. Eventually Iowa will seperate themselves from the Hoosiers and win handily.

Iowa 42
Indiana 17

Indiana wins 31-28. What a surprise that was.

Big, big win for the Hoosiers program. Huge upset - and to think it wasn't the biggest upset of the day!
