Never in school history has Illinois been so loaded with talented wide receivers as this year. The roster is overflowing with speedy, athletic pass catchers and the coaching staff faces a difficult decision which will play and which will sit.
Illinois uses the spread offense and coordinator Mike Locksley will often use 4 receivers at a time.
There are 14 receivers on the roster including Marques Wilkins, Rejus Benn, and Chris Devalt.

Another testament to the awesome recruiting job Ron Zook is doing at Illinois. Benn is an incredible talent, and may wind up being the best receiver in the Big Ten, and they've got an amazing variety of different types of targets, some big and some small and quick. They'll be a test for even the best secondaries, I promise you that!
