U. of I. fans cry foul over tickets
As Illinois football fans scrambled for a chance to see their team in the Rose Bowl, a prominent Downstate booster with special access to seats used eBay and personal connections to resell at least 60 tickets at a profit.

Judge Dan L. Flannell, a Circuit Court judge in Moultrie County and frequent online seller of Illini athletic tickets, said he funnels the profits back into the athletic department though the Sullivan Illini Quarterback Club. Flannell is president of the 200-member club, which donated $22,000 to the athletic department last year.
