The Houston Chronicle reports: Some members of the Broncos organization and several reporters believe that Kubiak and Smith will be interested in quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt, receiver Charlie Adams and running back Ron Dayne if any of them should be waived this week.

Geez... don't tell me there are THREE teams dumb enough to give Ron Dayne a chance! Note to all NFL coaches and GMs out there. Ron Dayne is a bust. He will never be a good pro running back. He wasn't all that good of a college player either -- one of these days, take a look at some film of Dayne's Badgers against Michigan, and count the number of times the dude runs the wrong hole. Never should've won the Heisman, and certainly doesn't deserve a third chance to fail as a pro.

Four ...the Gotham Dark Knights of the GTG league took a chance on the big bust...he was cut this week for Aaron Brooks...who may or may not play...he has Peyton Manning and Michael Vick ahead of him.
