Rookie Steve Slaton led all Houston carriers with 37 yards on 11 carries.

Texans D came up with 2 interceptions by S Nick Ferguson and CB Jamar Fletcher.

First round LT Duane Brown was a starter in his first NFL game.

No prob. You know, I'm surprised by how well both of their quarterbacks played. They seem to be in good shape under center, and that's hard to believe considering the history of this franchise. Schaub's still figured to be the starter for them this season, right?

Yes. Schaub is still the QB on opening day. We have two QB's for the first time who could both come in and start which is a good thing if Schaub gets injured.

Only 21 weeks left until the Texans take on the Vikings (with or without Sage?). With Schaub (Wahoowa!) shaping up to be a QB for the long-haul, we're desperate for Okoye to join Williams in creating a defensive line that can support our improving offense in leading Houston to the 09 playoffs.
