| Rookie Barber looks to make a name for himself
Another Barber is trying to make a name for himself in the NFL.
Houston Texans safety Dominique Barber is the son of former Jets running back Marion Barber Jr. and the brother of Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber III.
He faces long odds as a sixth-round pick trying to make a roster loaded with safeties. But the Texans love that he comes from a football family.
The younger Barber was chosen by the Texans after a 4-year career at Minnesota, where his father and brother also starred. He led the Golden Gophers with 100 tackles last season, broke up eight passes and recovered three fumbles.
