Youngest offensive coordinator in NFL

As a gangly teenager, he used to run fly patterns alongside Broncos receivers Rod Smith and Ed McCaffrey during the summer..But Kyle Shanahan, 28, is all grown up now physically and professionally.
When Houston starts minicamp this season, Kyle will be the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL. Those who know him best say he is born to coach.
His parents Mike and Peggy had hoped to change him to another direction, but it didnt work out.
He will coach players a year or two younger than him. But age doesnt matter to Kyle. He says if you dont know what you are doing and players realize it, it doesnt matter how old you are, it's going to be miserable for you.

Yard work is Kyle Shanahan's baby on Sundays : Broncos : The Rocky Mountain News

When asked what if that coaching job should come in Oakland where his Dad was fired 4 games into his second season, Kyle said, "That might be fun. Then I might be able to do something my father couldnt--get along with Al Davis."
