| Texans release one of franchises originals The Houston Texans released center Steve McKinney, one of the franchise's original players, and re-signed punter Matt Turk on Tuesday. The 6-foot-4, 302-pound McKinney started the first three games of last season before going on injured reserve with a torn knee ligament. They beat the Dallas Cowboys in their (Texans) franchise opening game.

| Re: Texans release one of franchises originals Tony Boselli was the first player in team history, if I'm recalling correctly. So with McKinney's release, how many Houston originals are left? |
