Only one spot left, I'm afraid, and it looks like this 24-year-old Mandy Ramirez has got it just about locked up. Looks like anyone on the board who was thinking of trying out's just going to have to wait till next year.

The first two rounds of tryouts began in April, and 34 spots are already filled. However, there are 35 slots on the squad.

This year, judges decided to let fans decide which of three finalists will make the team — Ramirez being one of the three contenders.

Yes...well its a fan vote thing...maybe we can have a big GoTeamsGo rally around one of the finalist...and like sway the vote...kinda like an American idol of sort...

Of course this Mandy girl has been doing this since she was 7....hate to crush her dreams...

grew up watching dallas cowboy cheerleaders and was so freakin disapointed. we red blood americans want a heidi klum type not the jennifer lopez wannabe type. been to the games and this mandy who got the spot was alrgiht in an exotic dance girl kinda way. butterfaces are great but c'mon now bring back the beautiful blondes please!
