Breaking news...Mario Williams will be the #1 pick tomorrow afternoon after signing a 6-year, $50+ million contract with the Texans.

This means the Saints are in prime position to trade the #2 pick. They want D'Brickashaw Ferguson more than likely.

Look for the NY Jets to make a serious bid to trade up and get Bush. I think they'll get it done.

Wow, didn't see this one coming. I figured the Texans weren't interested in Bush, but I figured they would trade down. Williams is a physical phenomenon but wasn't always the most productive player on the field; scouts say Ferguson owned him at the Senior Bowl practices.

So where does Mr. Bush go now... the Jets at #4?

No... the Saints want both first round picks and a third rounder to drop back three positions. The Jets can't afford to give up that much.

So why did they tank all those games last season? Wasn't The Niners-Texans game dubbed the Reggie Bush Bowl? I am not saying Williams is an awful choice, I am just... confused. I am assuming they didn't want too anty up all that money Bush was demanding.

There are some rumblings that the recent stories about Bush and his family home might be scaring some teams away. That may or may not be the case. It may or may not be money, either. But to pass on Bush for Williams is odd... passing on Bush or Ferguson even would make more sense, since they need OL to protect Carr.
