Houston vs. Atlanta

On Sunday, Sept. 30, the Houston Texans (2-1) square off with the Atlanta Falcons (0-3).

Two months ago, if I told you that this game would match a winless team against a 2-1 squad, would you have believed which one is which? The Texans are for real - I think they proved that against Indy last week, despite losing 30-24. Unfortunately, they're also dinged up and will be without some of their top offensive weapons this weekend. So can they beat the Falcons?

Schaub will make the Falcons wish they never traded him with at least 3 TDs

I'm a little sceptical about Houston's chances. They're down several offensive weapons. Against anyone but the Falcons, I'd be sure they're in real trouble. But if you're going to be dinged up, it's good fortune to be dinged up against a team this bad. This one's a toss up in my book.

I agree. If I would have told you that the Texans would be a road favorite at the beginning of the season, you would have laughed. I know someone who took the Falcons in their survivor pool.

Lefty you are so right. Their go to receiver is hurt and the running game has not truly established itself yet. I think it will be a close one with Houston edging Atlanta. The Texans have a pretty decent defense.
