No thanks, I'd rather have Carr than Vick.

Can't argue with that logic. Give them equal offensive lines and receiving corps, and Carr will make fewer mistakes and win more games than Vick. Sure, Vick will have some sick running stats... but does it matter?

Re: Texans after Matt Schaub

Vick is without a doubt one of the most exciting players in the league, but that is about it. As far as a QB goes, I really would much rather have Carr, or even Schaub for that matter.
The Falcons have a lot invested in Vick and they are going to sink or swim with him...but, that's for another thread. lol

Re: Texans after Matt Schaub

I know that Schaub signed for 6 years, $48 million and is a Texan now.

Still haven't heard what the trade involved... can anyone post and enlighten me?

This is from the Houston Chronicle:

"The Texans switched first-round positions with the Falcons this season — falling two spots to 10th — and gave Atlanta second-round picks this year and in 2008."

Hmm... if I remember correctly, there was a time they could've had a first-rounder straight up for Schaub. If this was indeed the case and not just the delusions of an aging mind, then it was really idiotic for Atlanta to hold out and essentially get less value in return.
