The Houston Chronicle is reporting that a deal is in place for the Sacramento Kings to send volatile guard forward Ron Artest to the Houston Rockets, in exchange for Bobby Jackson, a first round pick, and an additional player not yet named. Sources suggest it is most likely rookie forward Donte Greene.

I know Yao ain't happy about it. I think Artest is overrated, anyway. What do you think?

Artest isnt overated I think hes a great player, but hes a thug punk always causing trouble though..

I like the trade. Donte Green was a project but has a bright future in the league but we want to win now, and Bobby Jackson is a washed up PG and wouldn't really help our team.

Artest will be our PF and will be our 3rd option.

That is a deadly starting rotation. If Yao and T-Mac can stay healthy we will be a team to watch next year. And Artest may be bad news, but he loves Rick Adelman and will most likely be on his best behavior.
