Game 7 - Houston vs. Utah

HOUSTON -- Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy doesn't completely understand why the home team has been dominating this first round playoff series.

He's just hoping it doesn't change.

The Rockets are looking to maintain home-court dominance in their first round playoff series for the final time Saturday night when they host the Utah Jazz in a decisive Game 7 at Toyota Center.

The home team has won all six meetings in the series between the two teams and, more comforting to the Rockets, only 18 road teams in NBA playoffs history have won Game 7 in 96 tries.

Rockets seek to maintain home edge in Game 7

I can't stand Jeff Van Phony. Let's go Utah!

Why Van Phony is still considered such a good coach is beyond me. 3 years with Yao-Ming and 3 first round losses.

Yeah, you've got a point. I have little doubt that if Phil Jackson had two players the caliber of Yao and T-Mac, he'd have at least one title by now.
